After looking at a handful of genres the group has decided that the genre of music video we want to make is Alternative. This is due to several factors:

1. It is a genre of music that we all like
2. We have a limited budget and technology and most of the videos we have looked at in this genre have used simple yet effective techniques that we feel we could recreate.
3. The mise-en-scene and props within these music videos have also been simple and places we have access to unlike those in hip hop videos which contain mansions and expensive cars.
