From what we’ve already discussed within the group I am beginning to form a clear idea of what our music video will look like. We want to have a mixture of animation and real life so using a friend (or one of us) we will have someone either lying down or standing up and pretending to walk. Projected behind them we want to use a combination of drawings and props to create a background that is constantly changing, this will help to generate the idea of someone on an exploration. The idea is childish but this appeals to us as it makes it fun, creative and original. Ideas that we have already discussed are having a large animal projected onto the screen so it looks as if the person is using them as transport combined with something more simple like projecting familiar landmarks behind them e.g. Pyramids, Eiffel Tower etc. This is just the basis of our idea and I’m sure we will have developed and tweaked it A LOT between now and the final production. The questionnaire results will also have a large impact on how we construct our music video.
