We are beginning to explore gender representation within contemporary music videos so today we looked at two images: one of Kid Rock on the front of a magazine cover and P Diddys album cover. I then commented on the representation of the male and females in both images.

From studying similar album covers and music videos I am beginning to develop my thoughts that through music videos women send out the message that they see themselves merely as sex objects as they degrade themselves by acting in a way similar to burlesque dancers.
