Maximo Park - Apply Some Pressure

-Objects and actions are based on the song lyrics such as the magnifying glass which symbolises the word magnify. I like this idea however we won’t be able to recreate the same effect as we don’t have as advanced technology.

- Within the group we have already discussed the idea of filming a band playing from different angles and this video loosely includes this idea.

- The idea that I was already beginning to develop that woman behave in the same manner as burlesque dancers within many music videos is reinforced by this video as a woman is dressed in red with fish nets and tight skimpy clothes whilst dancing provocatively. She is shown as being seductive and a tease which are traits of a promiscuous female for she holds a piece of red fabric as they do in bull fights to entice the bull, which is a symbol of masculinity. The bull then charges at it similar to the idea of the man being seduced.
